Sistaz Speaks Foundation, a veteran-led women's empowerment nonprofit in Michigan, began in 2024 when a military veteran, survivor, and life coach turned her healing journey into structured mentorship, wellness, and outreach.
Our women mentorship programs, girls mentorship programs, and youth empowerment initiatives blend guidance, leadership training, and emotional safety so participants gain confidence, practical tools, and community support to pursue education, careers, and wellness.
Through Doll Her Up, Adopt a Family, Love Baskets, and workshops, we unite mentorship, financial literacy, and sisterhood events to meet urgent needs while nurturing long-term confidence, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
LaJuan Whitlow, Founder and CEO of Sistaz Speaks Foundation, is a military veteran, survivor, life coach, and entrepreneur who turned her own healing into a blueprint for community transformation. With 14 years of military service and an MBA, she blends discipline, structure, and deep empathy to create safe spaces where women and girls can grow, lead, and heal. Through her parallel work with Soulvera Beauty & Wellness, LaJuan connects wellness, mentorship, and leadership development in powerful ways.
She guides initiatives like Doll Her Up, mentorship circles, wellness gatherings, and outreach that meet real needs while restoring confidence. LaJuan believes every woman carries purpose, and she works daily to make sure no sister walks alone.
